The Trans-Tasman IP Attorneys Board (Board) established an Ethics and Practice management Working Group (EPWG) to undertake an internal health-check of the Code of Conduct and its Guidelines in light of some emerging ethics and practice management issues.
At the Connect Network Learn event a panel of Board Members, including those appointed to the EPWG, shared some of these issues in the hybrid session "Recent Ethical Dilemmas". In addition, the Panel heard from the profession about any ethics issues the Board should consider during the health-check.
Outcomes of the internal health-check will inform whether a comprehensive review and any revisions of the Code of Conduct and its Guidelines are necessary
