Trans-Tasman IP Attorneys Disciplinary Tribunal Decision

Decisions of the Trans-Tasman IP Attorneys Disciplinary Tribunal -6 March 2026

The Disciplinary Tribunal has issued a decisions on penalties arising from the Tribunal in the TTIPAB vs Poole matter, issued 6 March 2026. Ms Sarah Poole, a registered Trade Marks Attorney pled guilty to unsatisfactory professional conduct. Accordingly, the Tribunal was only required to consider the penalty to be imposed on Ms Poole. 

Decisions made by the Trans-Tasman IP Attorneys Disciplinary Tribunal must be published in a written statement that sets out the reasons for the decision, as well as the findings on any material question of fact and evidence referred to or material on which findings are based.

Decisions made by the Tribunal are appealable to the Administrative Review Tribunal.
